Arsenal legend Kanu Nwankwo believes his former club will get better this season in the Premier League under new manager Unai Emery.
Unai Emery who replaced Arsene Wenger started his career at the Emirates with two straight defeats against Manchester City and Chelsea.
But the Gunners have won their last two Premier League games, and Kanu Nwankwo has made remarkable statement about his ex club which made some fans happy.
The ex Nigeria international who scored 37 goals for Arsenal in nearly 120 appearances believes it can only get better for his former side.
“When you look at the game against Chelsea, it was supposed to be a game that we’re not talking about negatively but it’s good that it happens early.
“It’s only four games but the team is gelling.
“And when you’ve got a new coach, the players are always like ‘I’ve have to do this, have to do that.
“They want to satisfy the coach and make him see the truth.
“Sometimes it’s difficult you have to just relax and enjoy your football. Whoever is good is good in the eyes of the coach,'' Kanu told AFTV reporter Kelechi according to Daily Star.
“Stamford Bridge still has nightmares about this legend,” one supporter wrote according to the report.
